Senior Creative Engineer (Production)

About the role

The Senior Creative Engineer leads high‑quality production design across digital platforms, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and innovation. Working on‑site at our Barreal office, you will manage complex multi‑channel projects while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee creation of production assets for site/app maintenance, image processing, digital advertising, motion graphics, email production, and presentations.
• Own complex projects from planning through delivery, aligning with creative, brand, and technical standards.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level Creative Engineers, providing feedback and best‑practice guidance.
• Collaborate with creative leads, project managers, and clients to improve workflows and elevate deliverables.
• Ensure rigorous quality assurance, proactively solving design or technical issues.
• Contribute to evolving design systems, templates, and guidelines for consistency and scalability.
• Stay ahead of design trends and recommend innovative tools to boost production efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Advertising, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in digital production design for agencies, studios, or startups, preferably with international clients.
• Strong background in digital marketing, online advertising, and production best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently with meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Motion design tools: After Effects, Adobe Animate (Celtra/Orca Plus a plus).
• UI/UX design tools: Figma, Sketch.
• Presentation and storytelling tools: Keynote, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (optional).
• Experience with collaboration and workflow tools such as Slack, Jira, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Zoom, Google Drive.
