Senior Creative Engineer

About the role

The Senior Creative Engineer leads high‑quality production design across digital platforms, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and innovation. Working on‑site at our Barreal office, you will manage complex multi‑channel projects independently while mentoring junior team members and shaping design systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee creation of production assets for site/app maintenance, image processing, digital advertising, motion graphics, email production and presentations.
• Drive end‑to‑end project ownership, aligning deliverables with creative, brand and technical standards.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level Creative Engineers, providing feedback and best‑practice guidance.
• Collaborate with creative leads, project managers and clients to improve workflows and elevate output.
• Ensure rigorous quality assurance, proactively identifying design or technical issues.
• Contribute to the evolution of design systems, templates and guidelines for consistency and scalability.
• Stay ahead of design trends and recommend innovative tools to boost production efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Advertising or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of digital production design experience in agencies, studios or startups, preferably with international clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with strong photo‑retouching and image‑optimization skills.
• Proficiency in motion‑design tools such as After Effects and Adobe Animate (Celtra/Orca Plus a plus).
• Advanced knowledge of UI/UX design tools (Figma, Sketch) and translating design systems into production assets.
• Experience with presentation tools (Keynote, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Comfort with remote‑collaboration and workflow tools (Slack, Jira, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Zoom, Drive).
