About the role
We are seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to serve as Technical Lead on a team refactoring and enhancing a critical production‑grade application. The role focuses on evolving an existing C++ codebase while preserving system behavior, architecture, and technology choices.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze complex legacy code, identify technical debt, and implement improvements without major technology changes.
- Guide the team’s technical direction, conduct code reviews, and mentor other engineers.
- Communicate technical decisions directly with the client and other non‑technical stakeholders.
Required profile
- Strong professional experience developing production applications in C++.
- Proven experience with large, legacy enterprise codebases and code modernization initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in distributed teams.
Required skills
- C++ (modern standards)
- Git source control
- Object‑oriented design, design patterns, and software engineering best practices
- Memory management, performance optimization, and debugging of complex systems
