Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose)

About the role

Software Mind is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join a fast‑growing healthcare technology client. You will design and build scalable Android applications that integrate with AI‑driven health data platforms, connected devices, and backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop modern Android apps using Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, and a shared design system.
• Implement clean, maintainable architectures such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring secure data handling and privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams in an agile environment.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural decisions, and adoption of CI/CD and automated testing.
• Contribute to reusable libraries, SDKs, and cross‑platform components, including Kotlin Multiplatform.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience delivering production‑grade Android applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural team.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
