Salesforce AI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior Salesforce AI Engineer to design, build, integrate, and operationalise intelligent solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem. The role blends applied AI engineering, generative AI, data integration, prompt and agent design, and deep Salesforce development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement generative AI, predictive AI, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), classification, summarisation, recommendation and automation use cases linked to Salesforce business processes.
• Develop reusable prompt templates, grounding strategies, evaluation datasets, guardrails, fallback paths and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Build AI services and APIs using Python and enterprise‑grade AI/ML frameworks, adhering to security, scalability and cost guidelines.
• Integrate external AI model endpoints with Salesforce via secure authentication, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow and integration APIs.
• Apply Salesforce security controls, sharing rules, permission sets, field‑level security and governor‑limit‑aware development practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 6–10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years on Salesforce and hands‑on delivery of AI/ML or generative AI solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Salesforce development: Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, integration APIs.
• Generative AI, predictive AI, RAG, large language models, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI or comparable managed AI platforms.
• Git‑based development, CI/CD, automated testing, Docker, Kubernetes.
