Remote PHP Developer (Laravel)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join an innovative AI agent project on a remote, contractor basis. You will work closely with AI model trainers, using your deep knowledge of PHP and Laravel to build and maintain the back‑end systems that power AI training pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP applications using the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with AI model trainers to structure data and workflows for AI training processes.
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable, high‑performance back‑end systems.
• Translate requirements into efficient, reliable code solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Communicate effectively across written and verbal channels within a remote team.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex back‑end issues during AI model training cycles.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Proven ability to develop, test, and deploy production‑grade applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously while contributing to team objectives.
• Experience with data‑driven or AI‑related projects is a strong plus.
