Quality & Reliability Engineer II

About the role

As a Quality & Reliability Engineer II at TE, you will apply your engineering expertise to ensure product quality and reliability across diverse manufacturing environments. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and external customers to meet stringent ISO 13485 and FDA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply problem‑solving techniques, geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios and measurements to resolve quality issues.
• Validate new equipment, products, and processes; prepare, execute and analyze IQ, OQ, PQ, SQ, TVM and FMEA protocols.
• Investigate customer, supplier and internal non‑conformance complaints, perform root‑cause analysis and verify corrective actions.
• Develop, analyze and present statistical data, product specifications and quality metrics.
• Approve customer drawings for manufacturing and create/modify procedures and work instructions.
• Train operators and engineers on validation activities and supervise Quality Engineers I.
• Maintain knowledge of government and industry quality‑assurance standards and conduct internal audits.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer I in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Bilingual English (intermediate) and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of administrative and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Required skills

• Minitab and JMP for inferential statistics.
• ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with IQ, OQ, PQ, SQ, TVM and FMEA protocols.
• Statistical analysis and root‑cause investigation.
• Validation of equipment, products and processes.
• Technical procedure writing.
• Microsoft Office suite.
