Quality & Reliability Engineer II

About the role

As a Quality & Reliability Engineer II at TE, you will apply your engineering expertise to ensure product quality and reliability across diverse manufacturing environments. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues, validate new equipment, and support regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Validate new equipment, products, and processes using IQ, OQ, PQ, SQ, TVM, and FMEA protocols.
• Prepare, execute, and analyze data for validation activities and generate detailed reports.
• Investigate customer, supplier, and internal non‑conformance complaints, perform root‑cause analysis, and verify corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain statistical data, product specifications, and manufacturing quality standards.
• Approve customer drawings for manufacturing and create/modify procedures and work instructions.
• Train operators and engineers on validation activities and serve as a liaison with external customers.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other applicable standards.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Minitab and JMP for statistical analysis.
• Experience applying ISO 13485 and FDA quality regulations.
• Knowledge of validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ, SQ, TVM) and FMEA methodology.
• Strong technical writing skills for reports, procedures, and work instructions.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and typical inventory/manufacturing software.
