Quality Inspector

About the role

The Quality Inspector ensures that products, materials, and manufacturing processes meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Working on the production floor, the inspector performs inspections, audits, and provides quality support to maintain compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify Device History Records (DHR) for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Inspect and validate product labels for accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct first‑article and first‑piece inspections to confirm process specifications before full‑scale production.
• Perform line audits to verify adherence to work instructions, processes, and quality controls.
• Support creation and verification of visual aids used in production areas.
• Enter and manage non‑conforming materials in the Material Review Board (MRB) system.
• Assist in investigating and documenting Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), gathering data and evidence.
• Execute material location movements in inventory/ERP systems to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Report quality deviations, defects, or potential risks identified during inspections.
• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Required profile

• Technical education or high school diploma; technical degree in quality, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of quality documentation such as DHR, NCR, and MRB.
• Ability to interpret work instructions, drawings, or specifications.
• Familiarity with inventory control or ERP systems is a plus.
