Production Supervisor (Shift A‑B)

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead activities at Baxter's Cartago plant, ensuring compliance with build requirements, specifications, and procedures while fostering a safe and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of process control, inventory oversight, accident prevention and complaint handling.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and internal policies such as SOX and 6S.
• Develop, attract and retain personnel, providing training and performance management.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and related tools.
• Meet production mix and volume targets, resolve flow interruptions and coordinate cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to work onsite on shift A or B.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
• Knowledge of quality systems and regulations (FDA, GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
