Production Supervisor II – Shift C

About the role

The Production Supervisor II – Shift C will coordinate daily activities on the manufacturing lines, ensuring products are produced to specification, on budget, and in compliance with EHS and QA policies. This role drives performance, quality, and continuous improvement in a medical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organize employees, materials, equipment and other resources to meet daily, weekly and monthly production plans and KPIs.
• Monitor and control production KPIs, implementing preventive actions to avoid line downtime.
• Maintain constant communication with technical teams to prevent manufacturing interruptions.
• Provide training on quality, EHS, GMP and GDP requirements and ensure certifications are up‑to‑date.
• Supervise line operations, intervene on quality, safety, ergonomic or scrap issues, and manage SPC data.
• Research and propose CAPA and NCR actions to improve product quality and safety.
• Close production orders, controlling variances in material, labor and machine usage.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
• Coordinate with customer service, warehouse, logistics and planning to meet customer agreements.
• Manage conflicts, promote teamwork and uphold company culture.
• Control the area budget and approve overtime bi‑weekly.

Required profile

• Engineering Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred).
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in medical device manufacturing.
• Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proven leadership abilities and a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 13485 standards.
• Familiarity with CFR 21 regulations.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Understanding of CAPA and NCR processes.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
