Product Design Engineer

About the role

The Design Engineer will develop, evaluate, and implement innovative design solutions for our products. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, advanced technical skills, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to meet project goals. The position also involves coordinating and documenting project development, testing, and providing technical support to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed design models and drawings using advanced CAD software, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulations.
• Conduct FEA and CFD analyses to optimize performance and verify structural integrity.
• Lead design projects from concept through completion, coordinating with the PMO and other departments for planning and scheduling.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and R&D teams to integrate designs into production and support the product lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation, design reports, test plans, user manuals, and maintain accurate records of design changes.
• Ensure all activities comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• More than 2 years of product design and development experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and proven teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
• Solid understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of pipe sealing solution design at detailed and conceptual levels.
