About the role

The company, a developer of residential and commercial real‑estate projects, is looking for an Electromechanical Estimator to join its Pre‑Construction team. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection and related systems in new builds and renovations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications and scopes to develop electromechanical budgets.
• Calculate quantities, unit costs and total budgets for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, ventilation, HVAC, telecommunications and fire‑protection installations.
• Request, review and compare vendor quotations; support tender processes.
• Conduct price studies, cost analyses and value‑engineering assessments.
• Track and update estimates throughout all project phases.
• Produce statistical reports and cost indicators.
• Participate in site surveys of existing installations for remodels or new construction.
• Follow the Pre‑Construction department’s procedures and standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience preparing electromechanical estimates.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as NFPA, ASME, ASHRAE and NEC.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Own vehicle preferred and willingness to attend occasional site visits.
