Plant Process Supervisor – Pasteurization Plant

About the role

The Pasteurization Plant is seeking a proactive Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure food safety, and drive continuous improvement. You will work on a rotating three‑shift schedule in Alajuela, coordinating closely with Maintenance, Quality and Hygiene teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the daily pasteurization process, meeting production targets.
• Supervise cleaning, sanitization and food‑safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and APH to address deviations and implement improvements.
• Promote continuous‑improvement initiatives that boost efficiency, reliability and sustainability.
• Conduct technical rounds, monitor maintenance plans and ensure equipment availability.
• Train and develop operational staff to uphold operational standards.
• Maintain and update SOPs and SSOPs.
• Identify resource‑saving opportunities and strengthen safety culture.

Required profile

• Complete secondary education.
• Advanced studies in electronics, mechanical, electromechanical, industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years operating process equipment.
• At least 1 year as a control‑room operator, industrial maintenance technician or sanitation (APH) staff.
• Minimum 1 year supervising personnel.
• Availability for three rotating shifts, Monday‑Saturday, Sundays off.
