Performance Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

As a Performance Software Engineer you will focus on low‑level systems tuning to keep Linux environments running at peak efficiency. You will bridge high‑level application demands with hardware capabilities, optimizing kernel, memory and I/O subsystems for massive scale.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep‑dive analysis of Linux kernel internals to improve memory management and I/O performance.
• Develop and deploy eBPF programs and use perf for real‑time systems monitoring.
• Perform CPU profiling and hardware‑level analysis with tools such as Nsight and VTune to eliminate execution delays.
• Refine kernel parameters and system configurations to match high‑scale workload requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to diagnose complex performance bottlenecks and implement OS‑level architectural improvements.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on systems programming and performance tuning.
• Proven expertise in low‑level Linux kernel internals, especially memory management and I/O subsystems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
