Officer, Enduring Earth

About the role

The Officer, Enduring Earth will support the Enduring Earth initiative, a collaborative effort to accelerate and amplify conservation of oceans, lands, and freshwater while securing long‑term financing for conservation outcomes. This role is based within The Pew Charitable Trusts' Environmental Portfolio and works closely with a wide range of partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in advancing the Enduring Earth collaboration’s strategic goals.
• Engage with environmental stewards, governments, Indigenous rights holders, and NGOs to promote conservation projects.
• Help develop and advocate for policies that protect marine, terrestrial, and freshwater ecosystems.
• Support efforts to secure sustainable financing mechanisms for long‑term conservation.
• Coordinate communications and reporting with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Educational background in environmental policy, conservation, natural resources, or a related field.
• Experience working with NGOs, government agencies, or Indigenous communities on environmental issues.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
• Commitment to science‑based, non‑partisan solutions for biodiversity protection.
