About the role
The Visual and Performing Arts Department seeks a qualified Music Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year on a temporary contract. The position involves delivering music instruction to students and supporting the department’s curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Teach music classes to students in the Visual and Performing Arts Department.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet California Single Subject Music credential standards.
- Assess and document student progress and performance.
Required profile
- Valid California Single Subject: Music credential (detailed copy or screenshot required).
- Three current letters of recommendation with wet signatures (dated within one year).
- Copy of EL Authorization if it appears on the credential.
- Copy of transcripts.
- Cover letter addressed to Jennifer Flores, Associate Superintendent of Human Resources.
- Resume and complete online Ed‑Join application.
