Mid Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mid Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native backend services and distributed systems on AWS for Coforge. The role focuses on building scalable, high‑performance applications using Java or Kotlin and modern cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native backend services and distributed systems on AWS.
• Build scalable, high‑performance, and resilient applications using Java and/or Kotlin with Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate APIs using GraphQL with Netflix DGS.
• Work with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL to create reliable data solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality backend solutions and contribute to technical decisions.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in backend‑focused software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
• Experience building cloud‑native distributed systems on AWS.
• Ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
