Mechanical Engineer – Remote, $20-$50 per task

About the role

We are looking for a remote Mechanical Engineer to analyse technical documents and develop engineering questions and solutions on a task‑based basis. The role is contract‑based, offering $20‑$50 per completed task.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technical documents and extract key mechanical engineering information.
• Generate, review and refine questions and solutions based on real‑world scenarios.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure data accuracy and depth of analysis.
• Provide detailed written and verbal feedback on document clarity, technical accuracy and effectiveness.
• Apply advanced subject‑matter knowledge to evaluate and solve complex engineering problems.
• Work independently, managing time to deliver high‑quality outputs with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional or academic experience in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to interpret technical documents.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience creating or evaluating technical content such as reports, studies or problem sets.
• Self‑managed, detail‑oriented and committed to data accuracy.
