Manufacturing Purchasing Buyer – Peripheral Division

About the role

The Manufacturing Purchasing Buyer supports the Peripheral Division by managing procurement activities for finished goods and components. You will work closely with suppliers, supply planners, and production teams to ensure timely delivery and mitigate supply chain risks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain master data in transactional systems (supplier lead times, details, product info, MOQs).
• Communicate forecast requirements to suppliers and place purchase orders according to the supply plan.
• Manage safety stock levels and adjust daily/weekly requirements based on supply net needs.
• Act as the first point of contact for suppliers, handling adjustments and performance reporting.
• Prepare weekly status reports, track KPIs such as OTIF, lead‑time compliance, PO compression, PPV, and past‑due invoices.
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 1 year experience in purchasing, procurement or manufacturing.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices.
• Knowledge of continuous‑improvement and cost‑reduction methodologies.
