M&A Attorney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will work 10‑40 hours per week, applying your expertise to simulated negotiations and AI‑driven contract review projects. This role offers the chance to influence the development of cutting‑edge legal technology.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review AI‑generated responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback.
• Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI performance on contract tasks.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI‑driven contract review solutions.

Required profile

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
• Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including APAs and SPAs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
