Logistics Supervisor – Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to lead daily warehousing activities in Heredia, Belén. You will ensure production, quality, and customer‑service standards are met while maintaining safety and security throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching of goods.
• Plan and manage dispatch operations for land and maritime transportation.
• Provide inventory inputs to planning, handling out‑of‑stock and overstock situations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system and respond to related inquiries.
• Monitor storage safety, space utilization, and equipment protection, proposing continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prioritize and assign tasks to optimize team resources and meet operational targets.
• Supervise staff to ensure safe, compliant warehouse operations.
• Train and onboard new employees on processes, procedures, and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Production Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 + years in logistics operations with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, business systems, and land/maritime logistics.
• Proven inventory‑management experience and data‑analysis capability.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification (strong advantage).
