Legal AI Prompt Writer - Remote

About the role

We are seeking legal professionals to help train and evaluate AI systems that work with legal documents and workflows. This remote contractor position blends AI technology with meticulous legal documentation, ideal for detail‑oriented individuals with a background in law or paralegal work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating clear prompts and reference responses based on real legal documents, contracts, policies, and procedural forms.
• Evaluate and rank AI-generated answers for legal accuracy, completeness, clarity, and compliance with guidelines, providing concise rationales.
• Perform precise legal data annotation, extracting information from scanned or paper‑based records and entering it into structured digital formats while flagging ambiguities or inconsistencies.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience drafting, reviewing, filing, summarizing, or organizing legal documents and matter management.
• Familiarity with structured, paper‑heavy environments such as courts, municipalities, ministries, agencies, universities, hospitals, or NGOs (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, able to spot inconsistencies in dates, parties, citations, numbering, and cross‑references.
• Minimum B2 English proficiency for understanding guidelines and collaborating asynchronously.
• Comfort with detailed rubrics, edge‑case analysis, and maintaining consistent decisions across large volumes of work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, PDFs, and experience using redlining or track‑changes features.
