Lead Financial Data Analyst

About the role

Acuity is seeking a Lead Financial Data Analyst to join its Investment Operations team. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of investment data through reconciliation, validation, testing, and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, reconcile, and validate investment data to detect discrepancies, data quality issues, and exceptions.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks, determine root causes, and support timely resolution.
• Perform data validation, support test migration efforts, and document variances.
• Prepare, execute, and document test scenarios for investment data and operational processes.
• Provide ongoing operational support for recurring and ad‑hoc reconciliation and data‑quality activities.
• Identify and implement improvements to data‑management processes, controls, and workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems or related field.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in investment operations, data management or middle/back‑office functions within an asset owner, manager, custodian or fund administrator.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Working proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Python and data‑quality tools.
• Experience with BI/reporting platforms.
