IT Systems Specialist – Global Support

About the role

Omnidian is building a new talent hub in Costa Rica and needs a Systems Specialist to join the founding IT team. You will be the go‑to technical resource for a globally distributed workforce, ensuring that every employee has reliable tools to support the company’s mission of sustainable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support for Windows and macOS workstations, office software, and licensing.
• Respond to global service‑desk tickets, troubleshoot issues, and resolve them promptly.
• Manage user account provisioning, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding for remote staff.
• Maintain accurate inventories of IT assets, software licenses, and ITAM records.
• Execute technical tasks for infrastructure projects such as OS version deployments and configuration updates under senior guidance.
• Assist with rollout of new 2026 initiatives, including IDP solutions, MDM platforms, and ITAM tools.
• Collaborate with the Information Security team to remediate security findings and follow ITIL processes for incident and request management.
