Intelligence Products and Systems Manager

About the role

The Intelligence Products and Systems Manager is the senior hands-on product leader for BLV and its portfolio of applied intelligence products, reporting to the Chief Data and Analytics Officer. The role manages two Team Leads and four Analysts, and leads products from discovery and business case through requirements, acceptance, deployment, adoption, monitoring, improvement and retirement. It is a senior manager role with substantial individual contribution, fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach and develop two Team Leads and four Analysts, with clear ownership, technical standards, feedback and accountability.
• Own and prioritize product roadmaps and the product portfolio, with success measures and acceptance criteria for each initiative.
• Build and operate intelligence products: oversee discovery, prototyping, acceptance, deployment, monitoring, improvement and retirement, and ensure products integrate into business processes with measurable outcomes.
• Develop product business cases, recommend which products to fund, scale, improve or retire, and coordinate user enablement with Business Applications.
• Govern models and systems: controls for evaluation, documentation, explainability, privacy, security, change control and monitoring, and route model, data and software issues to the right teams.
• Review product outcomes with senior business leaders and adjust priorities and controls as needs change.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive experience in applied AI/ML, data science, software, analytics, decision systems or technical product development, including at least 5 years of people leadership and experience leading Team Leads or senior technical/product staff.
• Demonstrated delivery of AI-enabled or model-driven capabilities into production, and experience taking products from discovery through adoption and improvement.
• Experience with modern AI product development, including model selection, API-based AI services, retrieval/grounding, LLM workflows, human-in-the-loop controls and production observability.
• Experience building decision-support products combining data, rules, models and external data sources.
• Preferred: experience in lending, financial services, business-user support or data reconciliation.

Required skills

• Broad applied AI: predictive machine learning, rules and decision engines, optimization, document understanding, NLP, generative AI/LLMs, retrieval, agents and hybrid human-in-the-loop systems.
• Strong understanding of model and product risk, explainability, privacy, security, data quality, monitoring and drift.
• Able to communicate technical choices and risk clearly to senior business leaders.
