Infrastructure Solution Architect

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance infrastructure solutions for mission‑critical systems. You will work closely with DBA, DevOps, and application teams to ensure resilience, high availability, and effective disaster recovery across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor for stakeholders, providing architectural guidance and documentation.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery (RTO/RPO) for databases and services.
• Lead architecture decisions following enterprise standards and best practices.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Design data solutions including replication, partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Define security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for databases.
• Support cloud transformation initiatives on AWS, Azure, and GCP, including managed database services.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Drive optimization and innovation across platforms.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DBA and/or solution architecture.
• Strong expertise with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and RTO/RPO concepts.
• Experience with data replication, performance tuning, and enterprise or data‑center environments.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed database services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Senior or advanced mid‑level profile with full‑time, onsite availability.
