Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

About the role

First Factory is looking for a hybrid Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer who can bridge traditional on‑premise datacenter operations with modern cloud automation. You will own end‑to‑end infrastructure tasks, from physical server deployment to Terraform‑driven AWS provisioning, while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and monitoring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Dell server hardware, including rack‑and‑stack, firmware updates, and lifecycle management.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst switches, FortiGate firewalls (HA, SD‑WAN, IPsec VPN), and Mellanox datacenter switches.
• Diagnose ISP circuit issues and handle carrier fault tickets.
• Administer Pure Storage SAN/NAS arrays, backup and disaster‑recovery workflows using Nakivo, Wasabi S3 storage, and Rclone.
• Manage VMware vCenter and ESXi environments, leveraging PowerCLI for automation.
• Provision and maintain AWS core services, IAM, VPC, and work with Azure environments, ensuring secure connectivity between on‑premise and cloud.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform; develop PowerShell and Bash automation scripts.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement full‑stack monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using LogicMonitor and Datadog.
• Serve as technical escalation point for infrastructure incidents across network, storage, virtualization, cloud, and application layers.

Required profile

• Proven experience with physical datacenter operations and on‑premise hardware.
• Strong background in networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and IaC tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi‑layer infrastructure incidents.
