About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Application Engineer I to support the development and optimisation of heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems. The role focuses on delivering efficient, high‑performance solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure HVAC designs align with customer needs and organisational standards.
• Analyse system performance data to identify improvement and efficiency opportunities.
• Streamline project workflows, address obstacles and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Participate in continuous learning initiatives, integrating new technologies and methods to enhance system performance.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners to achieve project objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in HVAC system design and optimisation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
