About the role
Escazú Contracting Management (ECM) is seeking a Human Resources Payroll Assistant to support payroll and HR operations in its Escazú office. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who can manage confidential information and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process, review, and ensure accurate, on‑time payroll for all employees.
- Support day‑to‑day HR processes, including tracking employee information and coordinating with managers.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Handle confidential and sensitive data with professionalism.
- Assist with administrative and operational HR tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
- Minimum 1 year of human resources experience.
- At least 80 % proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information responsibly.
Required skills
- Intermediate Excel proficiency.
- Experience with payroll or HR systems (preferred).
