Human Resources Information System Analyst

About the role

The Human Resources Information System Analyst will support the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of HRIS platforms, primarily Workday, for a multinational organization. This hybrid role combines onsite collaboration in Heredia with remote work, offering interaction with teams across Costa Rica, the United States, and India.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday business processes, templates, organizational structures, and system components.
• Provide technical and functional support for HRIS inquiries via ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot custom reports, calculated fields, and data audits to ensure data integrity.
• Support employee lifecycle transactions, including hiring, transfers, promotions, compensation updates, and terminations.
• Assist with mass data updates, system configurations, and Workday transactions using Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to resolve complex system issues and support HRIS implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in HRIS administration, system configuration, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple requests, and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Workday (HCM, Talent Management, Performance Management, Learning, Recruiting, Compensation).
• Ticket management platforms such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and related data integration tools.
• HRIS reporting, custom report creation, and calculated fields.
