HR Business Partner – Healthcare (Costa Rica)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Business Partner to lead recruitment, onboarding and legal coordination for our healthcare operations in Costa Rica. The role combines full‑cycle talent acquisition with contract administration and employee‑relations support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for administrative, operational and professional positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and reference checks.
• Support the hiring of medical experts, advisors and consultants, maintaining candidate pipelines and updating the ATS.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires and contractors, preparing documentation, eligibility paperwork and orientation materials.
• Draft, revise and track offer letters, employment agreements, contractor agreements and other legal documents, ensuring compliance and timely signatures.
• Assist leadership with document preparation, confidentiality agreements and independent contractor agreements.
• Maintain accurate employee and contractor records and support HR policy implementation and compliance initiatives.
• Liaise with external legal counsel or compliance partners as needed to ensure adherence to employment laws.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• 3+ years of experience in senior HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition or People Operations roles, preferably in a global or international environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience managing recruitment and onboarding processes, including for specialized medical and consulting roles.
• Strong document drafting and contract management capabilities.
