Groceries & Retail Growth Operations Manager

About the role

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Uber Eats growth across the Andean, Caribbean, and Central America (ACAC) region. As a Consumer Growth Manager you will define and lead the strategy for eater acquisition, retention, and engagement, working closely with local country teams and regional/global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional consumer growth strategy to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Design, prioritize, and roll out high‑impact initiatives tailored to local market dynamics and business priorities.
• Coordinate and optimise growth and promotional budgets, ensuring efficient investment and measurable ROI.
• Analyse consumer metrics and marketplace dynamics to identify opportunities and bottlenecks.
• Translate insights into actionable plans and establish performance dashboards to monitor impact.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, Policy, Communications, and Central Strategy teams to accelerate regional growth initiatives.
• Advocate for localized product improvements and support feature prioritisation that enhances user experience.

Required profile

• Immediate availability to work in a hybrid environment from our offices in Costa Rica.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency.
• 3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, business consulting, investment banking, or a high‑growth tech environment.
• Proven ability to analyse data, develop strategic recommendations, and execute effectively in fast‑paced settings.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
