Generalist Process Operator I – Production

About the role

The Generalist Process Operator I joins Cargill’s production team to support the manufacturing of high‑quality food products. Working on a dynamic production floor, you will operate equipment, perform routine maintenance, and help meet daily output targets while ensuring a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mechanical machinery and technology tools in assigned production areas.
• Load and unload bulk materials, handle packaging, terminal operations, and mixing tasks.
• Monitor computerized control systems and make basic machine adjustments as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Record production and inventory data in computerized systems.
• Operate mobile powered equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, sit‑down floor sweepers, and front‑end loaders.
• Follow all safety and regulatory policies and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support overall production goals.
