Generalist Process Operator I – Production Facility

About the role

The Generalist Process Operator I will work on a Cargill production facility, operating mechanical equipment, performing preventative maintenance and supporting basic troubleshooting. The role rotates across different work areas to help meet production goals, ensure product quality, and maximize throughput while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment and technology tools in assigned production areas, following established policies and procedures.
• Load and unload bulk materials, handle packaging, terminal operations, mixing, and monitor computerized control systems.
• Make basic machine adjustments and perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Record production and inventory activities in computerized systems.
• Operate mobile powered equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, sit‑down floor sweepers, and front‑end loaders.
• Follow all safety policies, maintain a clean work environment, and coordinate with other process areas.
