Finance Controls Expert Analyst

About the role

Experian is seeking a Finance Controls Expert Analyst to support and monitor financial control processes across the organization. You will apply strong accounting knowledge, revenue recognition expertise, and ICFR frameworks while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and strengthen financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution and monitoring of ICFR controls, including Control Self‑Assessments (CSA), ensuring proper documentation and effective operation.
• Review and validate financial activities such as account reconciliations, journal entries, and revenue processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits, preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and supporting remediation.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Revenue teams to embed and align control procedures with global standards.
• Identify opportunities for process automation using Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI, and AI‑driven solutions.
• Detect financial and operational risks, maintain documentation, and support process redesign for accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with Six Sigma project exposure.
• Hands‑on experience with ICFR frameworks and control testing methodologies (CSA, control validation, documentation review).
• Background in audit, internal controls, or controllership environments with audit interaction experience.
