Finance Controller Assistant

About the role

The Finance Controller Assistant supports Philips' strategy execution by delivering accurate, timely reporting and analysis of factory performance. This role enables stakeholders to make fact‑based decisions that drive business success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the factory’s financial performance processes, including rolling forecasts, annual operating plan, and month‑end close.
• Ensure timely, accurate deliverables and maintain forecast reliability.
• Recommend updates to factory financial policies and support management reviews.
• Develop data‑driven solutions using basic financial and accounting principles.
• Coordinate improvement projects with other Philips factories in the United States.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of complex issues and determine appropriate actions.
• Build productive relationships across the integrated supply chain and influence a multi‑million‑dollar manufacturing operation.

Required profile

• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; CA/CPA/ICWAI preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, financial control, or management reporting, preferably in an international environment.
