Film & Video Editor – Remote (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Film & Video Editor to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will transform raw footage into polished video assets that support AI training and creative projects, working flexible hours between 10 and 40 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling, seamless video content following project guidelines and creative briefs.
• Select and sequence clips to ensure narrative clarity, pacing, emotion, and technical precision.
• Collaborate with fellow editors and project managers to maintain consistency and quality in data annotation and video processing.
• Provide detailed feedback on editing quality to improve data assets for AI training.
• Deliver polished results within tight deadlines using advanced editing software.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in professional video or film editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating advanced skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of delivering clear, constructive feedback.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for narrative structure, visual flow, and continuity.
• Thorough understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and post‑production workflows.
