About the role

SONDEL is seeking a Tender Specialist to manage and execute public procurement processes in Costa Rica. The role ensures compliance with legal, technical and commercial requirements, enabling the company to participate competitively in tender opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute public tender procedures from start to finish.
• Verify that all documentation meets legal, technical and commercial specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and track tender timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare competitive bids.
• Use the SICOP platform to manage tender information.

Required profile

• Technical degree in administrative contracting.
• 2‑3 years of experience in similar tender or procurement roles.
• Knowledge of Costa Rican public procurement law.
• Basic proficiency with SAP (desired).
• Advanced proficiency with the SICOP platform.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational abilities.
