EMR Consultant – Radiology Module (Health Strategy)

About the role

Join Accenture’s Health Practice as an EMR Consultant focused on the Radiology module. You will work on international consulting projects, helping healthcare providers improve patient outcomes through technology and strategic planning. The role combines deep industry knowledge with hands‑on implementation experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and rollout of the Radiology EMR module for client hospitals and health systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff to translate clinical needs into technical specifications.
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure end‑users are proficient with the new system.
• Manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables, coordinating with global delivery teams.
• Conduct business requirement gathering, process mapping, and workflow redesign for radiology operations.
• Support pursuit teams by developing proposals and contributing to sales efforts for new opportunities.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of consulting experience in US healthcare, with a focus on EMR implementations.
• Strong understanding of the US health‑insurance ecosystem and payer/provider value chains.
• Proven ability to engage multiple stakeholders and drive complex projects to completion.
• Advanced English communication skills and experience presenting strategic recommendations.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or HIMSS are highly desirable.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with major EMR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, DICOM) and radiology PACS integration.
• Project management expertise, preferably PMP certified.
• Familiarity with cloud migration planning and program management.
• Ability to design and implement radiology‑specific workflows and interfaces.
