Email Strategist – Lifecycle Marketing

About the role

Power Digital is seeking an Email Strategist to lead email and SMS marketing strategy for its lifecycle marketing clients. The role involves auditing, strategizing, creating content, and managing broadcast and automation campaigns while collaborating cross‑functionally with creative, content, and web teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive email marketing and SMS strategy for clients.
• Manage daily operations of the email channel, including calendar, strategy, content creation, build and deployment, A/B testing, measurement and reporting.
• Build and manage automated email marketing programs with end‑to‑end tracking and proper measurement.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure brand guidelines are followed in emails.
• Report performance and provide monthly recommendations to clients.
• Use data to continuously test, measure and optimize email marketing programs.
• Partner cross‑functionally with other internal digital channels.
• Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes.
• Leverage Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem as it relates to the department.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years experience in email marketing strategy, production and end‑to‑end campaign management.
• Strong analytical and strategic copywriting skills, with a solid understanding of A/B testing and data‑driven decision making.
• Hands‑on experience with email platforms such as Klaviyo, Hubspot, Braze, or similar.
• SMS experience (preferred).
• Expertise in email best practices including segmentation, deliverability, copy and design approaches.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email coding.
• Strong communication, rapport‑building and presentation skills.
