Driver Assistant II – Support Transportation Operations

About the role

The Driver Assistant II supports the efficient movement of goods, materials and products across the country, providing on‑road assistance to drivers and ensuring deliveries reach customers or plants on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist drivers in loading and unloading complex goods, materials and equipment according to the delivery schedule.
• Handle money and operate electronic devices such as handheld scanners while completing required documentation.
• Provide positive customer service, obtain signatures and confirmations from recipients.
• Ensure all delivery paperwork is complete, accurate and updated after each stop.
• Participate in mandatory training activities and adhere to food safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support continuous and effective delivery.
