Digital IT Helpdesk Officer

About the role

Join Newmont’s Service Enablement Group as a Digital IT Helpdesk Officer. You will provide day‑to‑day technical support to employees, ensuring they stay connected and productive by resolving hardware, software, and access issues.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic system access, password, printer, and desktop application problems.
• Support Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office 365 users.
• Set up laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and install software.
• Prepare IT equipment and system access for new hires.
• Log, categorize, and prioritize help‑desk requests via ticketing systems, email, and phone.

Required profile

• Developing knowledge of end‑user technical support and hardware configuration.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts (Wi‑Fi, VPN, IP addressing).
• Experience with ticketing or remote‑support tools such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication skills.
• Customer‑service mindset and willingness to learn.
