DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will ensure reliable, high-performance delivery of mission-critical applications on Microsoft Azure. The role involves automating deployments, managing infrastructure, and collaborating with development, QA and SRE teams to maintain continuous delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient deployment strategies for high-traffic applications.
• Develop and maintain automated release management processes, including branching, versioning and release notes.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate build, test and deployment.
• Configure and provision Azure infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, scalability and security, and proactively optimise resources.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and participate in on-call rotation.
• Evaluate, select and integrate DevOps tools to improve delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline software delivery and support hardware/software requirements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of C# and .NET Framework web application development.
• 2+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including scripting with PowerShell or JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, HTML, CSS and IIS management.
• 1+ years managing Windows Server environments and using version control (Git).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Intermediate written and verbal English communication skills.
