Desktop Support Technician

About the role

The Desktop Support Technician will provide end‑user assistance for hardware and software needs, troubleshooting issues to keep systems aligned with business goals. Work may be performed onsite or remotely for clients and internal colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Helpdesk team with secure deployment of workstations, portable devices, keyboards, mice, monitors and telephony equipment.
• Support business and operational staff through voice, SMS and chat channels on help‑desk processes and project items.
• Perform IT department tasks such as data‑center and office cabling when required.
• Deliver training on various applications to team members and operational staff.
• Monitor daily operations and improve processes to maximise technology efficiency.
• Maintain knowledge of information systems related to workstations, portable devices and telephony hardware/software.
• Champion company core values and participate in other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and driven individual with a passion for supporting end users.
• Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and software across multiple platforms.
