Deployment Strategy Manager (Remote)

About the role

The Deployment Strategy Manager will lead product implementation and strategic initiatives that support BCD Travel’s global expansion. Working remotely, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure data integrity in Salesforce, and drive operational excellence across the Global Client Team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide structured project‑management leadership for strategic and client‑focused initiatives.
• Oversee product implementation for existing clients, ensuring smooth deployment and adoption.
• Manage strategic opportunities such as TripSource, APA, HPA, NDC, and VPA.
• Identify process alignments and efficiencies across the Global Client Team.
• Act as central communicator, keeping stakeholders informed of deliverables, milestones, and risks.
• Maintain and optimise business‑planning tools (e.g., Smartsheet) for portfolio visibility.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and collaboration.
• Ensure Salesforce data accuracy, reporting, and operational usage.

Required profile

• Prior experience in the travel industry.
• Proven background in a qualified project‑management role.
• General knowledge of GDS systems and agency operations (front, mid, back office).
• Experience managing personnel or cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Project‑management software such as Smartsheet.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data management.
• Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt (or similar continuous‑improvement methodology).
• Project‑management certification (e.g., PMP) – preferred but not mandatory.
