Deployment Strategy Manager

About the role

The Deployment Strategy Manager plays a critical role in advancing global expansion, leading product implementation for existing clients, and driving operational excellence across the Global Client Team. This position combines strategic insight, project‑management discipline and continuous improvement to strengthen client delivery and organizational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured project management leadership across strategic and client‑focused initiatives supporting global expansion and scalable client growth.
• Oversee product implementation for existing clients, ensuring smooth deployment and successful adoption.
• Manage strategic company opportunities such as TripSource, APA, HPA, NDC, VPA.
• Identify process alignment and efficiencies across the Global Client Team to accelerate implementation.
• Act as central communicator, keeping stakeholders informed of deliverables, milestones and risks.
• Maintain and optimize business planning tools (e.g., Smartsheet) to provide portfolio visibility.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce data, reporting and operational usage.
• Leverage global, regional and local resources to support projects and manage project risks.

Required profile

• Prior experience in the travel industry.
• Proven experience in a qualified project‑management role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Personnel management experience.
• Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt, PMP or other project‑management certification preferred.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of GDS platforms such as Abacus, Amadeus, Apollo, Galileo, Sabre or Worldspan.
• Proficiency with project‑management tools like Smartsheet.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience maintaining and reporting data in Salesforce.
• Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
• PMP or equivalent project‑management certification.
