Demand Planner and Inventory Management Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Demand Planner and Inventory Management Specialist to join our fast‑growing, fully remote team. The role focuses on forecasting sales, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring product availability across e‑commerce channels, especially Amazon.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales data, seasonality, promotions and market trends to build accurate demand forecasts.
• Maintain and update forecasts using data‑driven methods and adjust them for holidays, discounts and external factors.
• Calculate reorder points, recommend replenishment plans and monitor inventory to avoid stockouts or excess stock.
• Extract and analyze inventory and sales information from Amazon Seller Central.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Logistics to align inventory plans with business goals.
• Track forecast accuracy (e.g., MAPE) and propose continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fluent professional English communication skills.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management or related supply‑chain roles.
• Availability to work full‑time during U.S. business hours (8 AM‑5 PM CT/PST).
• Comfortable working under a contractor agreement and using Hubstaff for time tracking.
