Customer Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Operations Manager to lead the delivery of licensing, contracting, order and billing services for Microsoft’s Enterprise Direct Solutions customers. The role provides frontline transactional support to field sellers and ensures a seamless experience across the customer lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and execute customer agreements, ensuring compliance with policies, global standards and SOX requirements.
• Manage critical deal pipelines in coordination with sales, sales‑excellence and subsidiary teams.
• Oversee billing execution, invoice approval and dispatch to maximize cash flow and collectability.
• Coordinate finance exception approvals for high‑value credits and manage credit and rebill processes.
• Track billing status, communicate risks to stakeholders and maintain accurate contract billing records.
• Provide direct transactional support to Microsoft field sellers and customers, adhering to the Microsoft account plan.

Required profile

• Proven experience in volume licensing, contracting, order management or billing within a large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOX and global financial processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on process efficiency.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams including sales, finance and operations.
