Customer Onboarding Specialist

About the role

Service First is seeking a Customer Onboarding Specialist to guide new clients through the implementation of our products and services. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring a smooth transition, addressing technical queries, and supporting loan application processing in line with our internal guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the Customer Specialist checklist to conduct fraud, duplicate, and background checks on loan applications.
• Analyze applicant financial data using online banking tools and proprietary loan origination systems.
• Review call recordings (VOB and VOE) to verify annotations and flag major offenses for escalation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of conventional conforming and HARP loan guidelines.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to the team lead or underwriting supervisor.
• Adhere to scheduled work hours and submit end‑of‑shift tasks promptly.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect fraudulent activity.
• Good understanding of loan origination processes and financial documentation.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
